Earlier this month, we hosted leading female dentists from across the country for a weekend of learning and relaxation at the luxurious Sparkling Hill Resort & Spa in the North Okanagan. This annual event is dedicated to fostering a community of collaboration and support among women in dentistry.
The festivities kicked off on Friday evening with an intimate networking and cocktail reception featuring numerous culinary delights. The following morning began with breakfast accompanied by a stunning view overlooking the mountains, followed by a morning of continuing education.dentalcorp Partner Dr. Terri Pukanich facilitated the first continuing education session with an inspiring talk on how clinicians can focus on doing the dentistry they love through the power of setting intentions. Following Dr. Pukanich’s session, Sian Roberts, Align Technology’s Canadian Vice President and General Manager, discussed the evolving consumer landscape in dentistry and her personal journey as a woman in the tech industry.
For the remainder of the afternoon, guests had the opportunity to unwind with spa treatments, steam and relaxation rooms, and an outdoor infinity pool. The incredible weekend was topped off with dinner at 50th Parallel Estate, a local winery featuring the finest wines the Okanagan Valley has to offer.
