Dental Hygienist - Dentistry on Green Lane

Our dedicated team of dental professionals is led by Dr. Larry Podolsky and Dr. Howard Rosen, who bring years of experience and a genuine commitment to patient care. From our friendly Reception staff to our skilled Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants, every member of our team is invested in making each visit comfortable and enjoyable. Utilizing state-of-the-art dental technology and offering personalized care, we ensure that each patient departs with a bright and confident smile

Schedule: Part-Time

  • Thursdays - two (2) per month  - 8:45am - 5:15pm - 1 hr lunch
  • Saturdays - Alternating - 7:45am - 1:15pm - no lunch

Responsibilities:

  • Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
  • Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
  • Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
  • Take dental radiographs, Itero scan, intra-oral pictures (training will be provided)
  • Administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
  • Assist with scheduling patient appointments and maintaining patient records

About You:

  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
  • Registered as a Dental Hygienists and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with ABELDent and digital radiography systems preferred
