Investing in Tomorrow: Six Outstanding Students Receive Scholarships and Career-Defining Opportunities in Oral Healthcare 


Dentalcorp, Canada's largest and one of North America's fastest-growing networks of dental practices, proudly announces the 2025 winners of its national scholarship program, designed to support the next generation of oral healthcare professionals. 
 
The Dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award offers recipients a significant contribution towards their tuition fees and a full-time, two-year contract with a leading Dentalcorp clinic upon graduation, providing these students with invaluable work experience and a head start in their dental careers. 
 
Winners are selected from a competitive pool of applicants based on their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and embodiment of Dentalcorp's core values. 


2025 Dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award winners: 
 
Dental Assisting

  • Alysa Beattie (SK), Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus 
  • Hareem Shahid (ON), George Brown College
  • Hannah Waters (AB), Northern Alberta Institute of Technology 

Dental Hygiene

  • Sarah Clark (NB), Oulton College 
  • Sarah Long , Vancouver Island University – Nanaimo Campus 
  • Jessica Provost, Canadian National Institute of Health 
The Dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award eases the cost of education, empowering students to graduate with reduced debt and confidently pursue fulfilling careers in dentistry. 
 
"We are committed to helping some of the most dedicated and talented graduating dental professionals launch their careers without added financial burden, so they can focus on what matters most, becoming highly skilled and delivering high quality patient care," said Nicola Deall, Chief People Officer at Dentalcorp. 
 
To qualify for the program students must be in their final year of study in dental hygiene or dental assisting programs at Canadian institutions.  
 
"Supporting the next generation of dental talent is a passion that drives everything we do," Deall adds.
